Jaipur : The Rajasthan government has formulated a new hotel policy to promote investment and develop infrastructure facilities in the tourism sector.
Under the new policy, functionaries of the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), local bodies, gram panchayats and district collectors will identify and reserve land for setting up new hotels, State Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Singh Rathore told reporters here late Monday.
He said heavy concessions and rebates for new investors in the sector had been announced and the interest of private players taken care of.
The minister said the government will come up with a land bank for hotels, which will be made available on the official website of the government.
