Designers from different states displayed their latest collections at Autumn Fashion 2006, a fashion event organised at Vimonisha gallery, Nungambakkam, recently. The exotic range of womens clothing line was put together by nine designers from Banaras, Jaipur, Delhi, Bombay and Chennai.

Outfit made from tussar, brocade, khadi, silk, cotton and Georgette form part of the wide selection. Other interesting items include sadia sarees from Banaras, kids wear with ethnic prints by Dogri from Jaipur, evening wear in chiffon, Georgette and gold tissue by the company Presence, Delhi and the latest dress materials from Yashica and Kiah fashions, Chennai. Designer jewelleries from Anjali jewellers were also on display.

Arti Bagdi, exhibition organiser said the amount mobilised through this exhibition would be use to fund a welfare programme for children affected by cancer at the Adyar Cancer Institute.
