Herbal bath aboard Palace on Wheels

Jaipur - Tourists travelling in Rajasthans luxurious Palace on Wheels train can now look forward to a herbal bath as well as internet facilities.

Passengers would now be provided with special ayurveda products like herbal and aloe vera soaps, gels, lotions and shampoos.

The decision to equip the train with such ayurveda products was taken after a survey conducted by Rajasthan Tourist Development Corporation (RTDC) and also keeping in mind the requests of the passengers commuting by the train, a senior tourism department official said.

The RTDC conducted a survey in the states luxury hotels to know the preferences of the tourists.

The Palace on Wheels that is run jointly by Indian Railways and RTDC comprises of 14 fully air-conditioned deluxe saloons and is equipped with world-class amenities to enhance the pleasure of travelling.
