CHANDIGARH lads stamped their class in the 4th Maruti-Suzuki Deset Storm Rally that concluded at Jaipur on Sunday. Harpreet Bawa and Harkaran Singh grabbed the first and second spots respectively in the four-wheeler category of the gruelling 1340 kilometres event that tests the drivers and vehicles alike.
Bawa and his co-driver JD won rally that was contested among the xxed for acute driving and navigational skills. It was a very tough rally because of the conditions. Navigation is also difficult because its very easy to get lost in the desert which doesnt have identification features like mountain rallies, said Bawa.
