The bitter property battle between the Royals of Jaipur took a new turn on Tuesday with Maharani Gayatri Devis grandson hardening his stand, saying he will not settle for an out-of-court settlement.
They came before the media as heirs of one of the most famous royals in the country to claim their inheritance and what followed was a very public and messy battle over the palace hotel Jai Mahal.
Now Devraj Singh, grandson of Maharani Gayatri Devi, after saying that he is open to a settlement has gone back on his word, rejected any out-of-court settlement with his grandmother. He said, We would not like to reconcile with any-out-of-court settlement and would like to fight for justice and what is rightfully ours through the legal channels.
