Air Arabia to start flights from Jaipur to Sharjah from May 12
Air Arabia, the low-cost Sharjah-based airline, is planning to launch a direct flight from Jaipur to Sharjah, which is expected to give a boost not only to tourism but will also be a boon for thousands of labour force from Rajasthan working in the UAE.
Air Arabia will launch a daily direct flight to Jaipur from May 12. This flight will take around 3 hours and 15 minutes and is expected to provide a vital link for Indians, especially those from Rajasthan in the Gulf, besides connecting UAE with one of the most popular leisure destinations in India.
At present, only Indian (formerly known as Indian Airlines) connects Jaipur to Dubai, via Delhi.
Majority of people from Rajasthan working in the UAE are from the shekawati region of Rajasthan and for them it will be convenient to fly directly from Jaipur instead of from Delhi.
