Gigabyte Plans to Focus More on High-End Products

Gigabyte Technology (India) has decided to focus more on high-end products to enhance channel profitability and also improve on its expanding service network to build customer satisfaction. Intel 965 based gaming platform motherboards is high on its launch program.

The company recently organized an all-India channel meet in Jaipur to discuss new initiatives, plans and strategies to focus and deliver on greater customer satisfaction and build stronger channel relations. The meet attracted over 150 representatives of its channel from different parts of the country. The meet was attended by the its distributors and Premium Partners.

Shekhar Kulkarni, vice president-sales, Gigabyte Technology (India), said, We are introducing a number of products this year. This all-India channel meet was aimed at updating our partners on Gigabytes future roadmap and keep them abreast on the companys plans and activities. This also formed a very important platform wherein important channel feedback was discussed.

The meet invited suggestions and feedback from its partners so that efficient and greater effective marketing can be carried out, along with the channel partners involvement. Marketing feedback, customer preferences, services issues and competitor moves were also discussed and steps to address these were formalized.
