Entertainment Network (India) Limited has announced its audited annual results for the year ended March 31, 2006. The gross turnover has increased by 57.69% to Rs 120.19 crore in FY 2005-06 from Rs 76.22 crore in FY 2004-05.
Profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 29.46 crore compared to net loss of Rs 17.92 crore in FY04-05. Earning before interest, depreciation, tax and amortisation excluding license fee for the year was Rs 44.57 crore, a stupendous rise of 61.5% over the previous year.
ENIL has recently commenced its FM radio station in Hyderabad under the popular brand name Radio Mirchi 95FM, Hyderabad is the 10th station of ENIL to start operations. On April 18, ENIL has launched its new FM radio stations in Jaipur and Bangalore. Radio Mirchi 105 FM (Jaipur) and Radio Mirchi 93.3 FM (Bangalore), thereby become the first private FM radio stations under the Phase II of radio privatisation.
