Jaipur - Moderate rains lashed parts of Rajasthan Monday bringing respite to the people from the hot and humid weather conditions.
Light rain has been recorded in several parts of the state since Sunday.
Pilani had 11 mm of pre-monsoon showers, Sawai Madhopur 8, Ganganagar 5.2, Bundi 4, Jaipur 3.2 and Dholpur 1 mm.
The metrological department officials said more pre-monsoon showers are expected on Tuesday.
The monsoon may enter Rajasthan in a weeks time. In the meantime, parts of the state, especially the southern districts may receive light to moderate showers in the next 24 hours, a senior official said.
The minimum temperature is now hovering between 22-27 degree celsius. In Jaipur, the minimum temperature recorded was 24 degrees celsius, while Rawatbhata and Sawai Madhopur recorded 22 and 22.5 degree celsius respectively.
